Pastor Syd and Kathy Wyncoop serve at Talent Friends Church in Talent, Oregon where Syd preaches God’s Word verse-by-verse, while emphasizing in a practical way a correct and clear presentation of the message of salvation. They minister to a community with a much higher percentage of retired and retiring citizens than most of the country. Some of the ways Syd and Kathy with their faith-family reach into the community include outreaches like: A flower ministry that delivers dozens of roses from their garden to city hall, police, fire, schools, ministries, businesses, to thank these servants for their service to their community; Meeting needs of neighborhoods in need through food bank and clothes closet ministries and various meals such as Easter Breakfast, and Spaghetti Dinners; Annual Gospel Music Outreach featuring Liberty Quartet; and Supporting local elementary schools with CEF Good News Club, a school-supply drive, Christmas gifts for homeless children, and reading to students. All of this is with the purpose of glorifying the Lord through evangelistic relationship building ministries!
